lAccountants and lawyers are expected to increase hiring 9%.

lYakama, WA, has the strongest employment outlook of any city (juicing, packaging & shipping apples.)
lThe third strongest employment outlook is in Anchorage, Alaska with emphasis on health care.

lHighest growth will be in Texas, New Mexico, Florida, Nevada, and Georgia in that order.
lHome health and home care aids will have the fastest growth rate.
lJobs in information technology will increase at twice the overall job growth rate.
lThe largest number of new jobs will be in retail salespersons and office workers.
lJob growth for women in the workforce will be much greater than that for men.
lIndependent contractors will increase from current 26 % to 40% of the workforce.
lThe percentage of the workforce telecommuting or part time will double.
